Quotes & Inventory Levels

Our website contains our everyday low prices that you will also find in our showroom. These prices may not always include current specials or promotions.  (Promotions and stock levels can change very quickly.)  In some cases, our everyday low pricing may be lower than what a manufacturer allows us to advertise.  You can request a current quote using the contact form on our Contact Us page.  You can also call us at 859-309-1894 or email chad@reliclex.com

Online Orders

Our website is an e-commerce platform that allows you to securely order and pay for items online. Local customers may elect for local delivery or pickup at our store location. For customers outside of our local area, some items are available for shipping. Not all items will be available for shipping due to weight/size. Please contact us before placing the order if you are concerned about shipping options.

A copy of your sales invoice will be emailed to you after your order has been placed. It is your responsibility to be sure you review and check your sales invoice to be sure we have placed your order correctly. If you do not receive your copy within 1 day of placing your order or if you have any questions or concerns please contact your sales associate. Also note, RELIC/ Lexington Oriental Rugs cannot be responsible for errors pertaining to information you may have received from other sources. If there are costs associated to correcting these errors it will be done at your request and expense. Should you receive incorrect information from a manufacturer’s web site, we will be happy to support you in making a claim to them, although we assume no responsibility.

Special Orders

Special orders are any orders that are placed for items not in our immediate inventory or items that are custom made to your specifications. Due to the nature of custom ordered rugs, the following policies are necessary to provide the best quality and lowest prices.  Once an order is placed, it is not cancellable or refundable.   A 50% deposit is required prior to placing the order, this deposit is also non-refundable.   The balance of the invoice is due at the time of delivery.

Rug On Approval Policy

You can take any rug home for a “test drive.”   Our on approval 2 day trial period allows you to borrow the rug without purchasing it.  This allows you to see the piece in you own decor, making your decision to purchase easier.  A credit card number is required for in-state customers. Out of state customers require a 100% deposit, which will be refunded if the rug is not kept. Return shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility.  Any rugs not returned after 7 days will result in the credit card with the account being charged. This policy is applicable to in-stock rugs only.

Returns and Cancellations

Any items that have been purchased from our in-stock inventory may be returned for a refund within 7 days of the purchase date. Items that have been marked for liquidation or final sale are not returnable.  Special orders, custom orders, and items not in our immediate inventory are considered a Final Sale and cannot be returned.

Refusing a Shipment

If you reject a shipment that you placed , you will still be responsible for the return shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee. This amount will be deducted from the refund. If you receive an item that has obvious shipping damage, please contact us before refusing the shipment.

Oriental Rug Trade-In Policy

If you purchase a hand-knotted wool or silk rug from us, you can return it, at any time in your life for 100% of your purchase price in store credit.  Trade-In policy is valid on hand-knotted wool, silk, or silk and wool rugs only. To be valid, the rug may not be cut, burned, stained, have fringe damage, or other damage that affects sellable value. Cleaning and repair fees may be deducted from your credit at the time of your trade-in.  The rug must have been professionally cleaned by our service on a regular schedule to validate the trade-in policy. Trade-in store credit may only be used toward the purchase of an in-stock rug. Trade-in store credit may only be applied to our normal pricing and is not valid towards sale or special discounts. In store credits from rug returns may not be applied towards furniture purchases. Custom orders will be reviewed for trade-in on a case by case basis. Store credit will not be exchanged for cash refunds.

Oriental Rug Cleaning Services

Lexington Oriental Rugs provides oriental rug cleaning and repair as a service to our customers and clients.  Due to the nature of cleaning natural and synthetic fiber products, we cannot be held liable for problems or damage that may arise from the existing conditions of your rug.  Normal cleaning may result in your rug looking different, smelling different, and some stains may not come out or may become more apparent. Unless otherwise noted- all cleaning rugs must be picked up within 60 days of cleaning. Any rugs not picked up after 60 days will be donated to Lexington Habitat for Humanity.
