Unfinished Full-Size Barrel

This is where the magic happens! This is a reclaimed full-size 55 gallon charred, Kentucky White Oak Barrel that was used in the making of Bourbon Whiskey in Kentucky.  After aging for many, many seasons in the heart of the Bluegrass, these used barrels are emptied of their magical elixir and sent to people like us to be reincarnated into a second life.

Our unfinished barrels are exactly that- raw and rustic- straight from the distillery to you! Perfect for your own projects or ideas. Just be aware that without proper reinforcement and sealing, they will not last too long…  Are these barrels perfect? Not by any means. They did their job, aging sweet KY bourbon for up to 20 years- you would be a little worse for wear too! These barrels are for decoration and display only, and are not guaranteed to hold any secondary liquids for you home brewer types.
